Made from a fine, 2 ply water repellent 100% cotton. It has a nice soft handle too. We buy the fabric from Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Scotland. The difference between this fabric and cheap cottons is that firstly, the cotton is U.S grown and makes for a longer staple yarn. It means that is has better handle, better durability and better washing. The old adage of getting what you pay for is certainly true with cotton fabric.
There is also an internal zipped security pocket.
